It is my great honor and privilege to serve the students of Biloxi as the Principal of North Bay Elementary. After working in different schools and districts for the first 9 years of my career, I moved to North Bay Elementary 14 years ago. There, I found my home in the Indian Nation. As a parent of a BHS graduate as well as a current Biloxi student, I see the exemplary education that is offered to students across the Biloxi Public School District each and every day, and I am so proud to be a part of that!
I earned my first education degree at Ole Miss, then began teaching elementary school. Over the first 9 years, I gained experience teaching multiple grade levels from Kindergarten through fifth grade. As a teacher, I always followed the path of a lifelong learner. In doing such, I earned a Master’s degree in Education from William Carey University.
For the past 14 years, I have served NBES in the roles of Academic/Behavior Strategist, Assistant Principal, and Principal. It was during my first few years at NBES that I became inspired to continue my education, and I completed my Specialist in Educational Administration degree from William Carey University. I am eager to continue working to positively impact our Biloxi students throughout my career, and I am so thrilled to come to work each day as part of the North Bay family!
